I believe that people can – and do – change and everyone is the expert of their own life. Walking along side individuals/families in their journey, I draw on skills from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectal Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Relational Therapy to identify and expand upon strengths and goals; increase awareness of thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors to better understand ourselves; and establish effective problem solving, conflict resolution, and communication skills to enhance our relationships. My primary objective is to work myself out of a job; reach out to find out more!
Since 2018, I’ve worked in a range of settings, including inpatient substance use; outpatient adults and children/adolescent/family; mental health/veteran’s court; jail; and community based treatment for youth/families. My passion is rooted in assisting individuals and families maintain autonomy in their lives while navigating this complex thing called life.
My specialties are depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, anger, ADHD, relationships, family conflict, system involvement (i.e. DCFY, court, probation, juvenile justice) and school issues. I strive to empower all my clients to make the best decisions for themselves, given their unique circumstances, no matter what’s going on!
